Obituary: Ronald P. Sotere, 83, of North Haven
Ron served in the U.S. Navy, was a licensed electrician and was the owner and operator of Dairy Queen in Wallingford and Fair Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Ronald P. Sotere, 83, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of 62 years to RoseAnn D’Errico Sotere. Ronald was born in New Haven on February 12, 1937 and was the son of the late Charles and Helen Fazio Sotere.
He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy. Ron graduated from Boardman Trade School as a Licensed Electrician and was the owner/operator of Dairy Queen in Wallingford and Fair Haven for 52 years.

He was a former member of the North Haven Rotary Club, enjoyed playing poker with his buddies, and was a New York Giants and Yankees fan.
Father of Ron Sotere, Jr., Dawn Rosarbo, Christopher Sotere(Eva) and Robert Sotere. Grandfather of Gia and Joseph Rosarbo, Alexa, Gianna, Robert, Jr. and Dominic Sotere. Brother of Irene Mamone.

The visiting hours will be Monday morning, Dec. 14 from 9:00 to 10:30 at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
His funeral procession will leave at 10:30 to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00.
Entombment with full military honors will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum.
