Obituary: Sandra Papa Boguniecki, 80, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Sandra Papa Boguniecki, 80, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Wife of the late John Boguniecki. Sandra was born in Wallingford on March 4, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Frank M. and Doris M. Ciszek Papa. She had worked as a waitress for many years, was a member of the Jolly Timers and the North Haven Senior Center where she enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

Sandra, being the” Matriarch” of the family, enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and entertaining family and friends at her home.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Sandra loved her family unconditionally.

Mother of Mary Weaver (Perry), Sharon Espada (Nelson) and Patricia Boguniecki. Sister of Michael S. Papa (Pat) and Stanley A. Papa. Grandmother of Nelsy Vega, Nelson Espada, Jr. and the late Leslie Espada. Also survived by six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
