Officer Gets Pie In The Face On Pi Day In North Haven

The event was part of a fundraiser for a student who is suffering from a medical condition, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven School Resource Officer Robert DePalma got a pie in the face for a good cause on Thursday. North Haven Police shared photos on social media of DePalma helping North Haven Middle School celebrate National Pi Day on Thursday as part of a fundraiser for a student.

“As a fundraiser to help a young North Haven student who is suffering from a medical condition, students were allowed to smash a pie in the face of school staff,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “A big thanks to SRO DePalma.”
