Officer Revives Man Suffering from Heroin Overdose: North Haven Police
Responding officers found the man unconscious on the ground with a neighbor administering CPR. He was taken to the hospital: BREAKING

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 34-year-old man was revived by a North Haven police officer after suffering a heroin overdose on Friday afternoon.
Police responded to a Glenn Road address at about 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 5 on the report of a heroin overdose.
Upon arrival, officers found a 34-year-old man was outside lying on the ground unconscious and a neighbor was administering CPR, according to police.

A North Haven police officer administered a dose of Narcan to the man who was suffering from the heroin overdose.
Police said the man responded to the lifesaving efforts and showed signs of recovery. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
