Officers Revive Man After Heroin Overdose at North Haven Park: Police
Police say the combination of a dose of Narcan and CPR saved the 28-year-old man's life.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven Police revived an unresponsive 28-year-old man after an apparent heroin overdose with a dose of Narcan Tuesday afternoon at Grover Wyman Park. The man made a full recovery, according to police.
A woman contacted police after observing a man who appeared to be sleeping inside of his vehicle at about 1:30 p.m. (on Oct. 11) at Grover Wyman Park on Blakeslee Avenue.
“This park is usually populated with young children playing, therefore, the woman felt it was suspicious for a man to be sleeping there,” police said in a press release. “As officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man from Northford unresponsive. The man had no pulse and was not breathing.”
