NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Northford man has been arrested in connection with the theft of holiday packages from North Haven homes in December, according to police.
Police investigated several reports of holiday gifts being stolen from homes in North Haven in December after packages were delivered, according to officials.
North Haven officers worked with area police departments that were investigating similar crimes and a suspect was identified, police said.

Sidney Nelson, 50, was arrested April 21 on a warrant and charged with seven counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $3,000 with a court date of May 17, according to state judicial records.
