Pedestrian Identified In Fatal Hit-And-Run In North Haven: UPDATE
The woman was walking with her two children when she was struck by a car that fled the scene, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Monday night in North Haven as Maureen Munzner. Police said Munzner, 57, was walking with her two children on Ridge Road at about 5:30 p.m. when she was struck by a red Ford Fusion.
The driver fled the scene and Munzner was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police. Investigators located and seized the vehicle as evidence and the driver has been identified, police said.
The South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit is investigating this incident. Anyone with information, or who witnessed the incident, is asked to contact the North Haven Police Department at (203) 239-1616.
