Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Hit-And-Run: North Haven Police
Police said an elderly man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle that left the scene in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after an elderly man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run last month in North Haven.
The man was walking in the westbound shoulder of the Route 22 connector around 11:40 a.m. on July 19 when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene, according to police.
Police said the man was hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle, described as a gray or tan SUV that was possibly an Acura, was last seen heading west on Bishop Street, according to police.
Police said the vehicle’s front passenger side bumper could be damaged.
