Police: Wallingford Man had 140 Bags of Heroin Packaged for Sale in North Haven
The man was arrested at the Sunoco Gas Station on Washington Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

A Wallingford man was charged with possessing about 140 bags of heroin with the intent to sell Wednesday afternoon in North Haven, according to police.
North Haven Police officers were conducting an investigation of suspicious activity at the Sunoco Gas Station, 641 Washington Avenue, at about 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
During the investigation, officers detained Christopher Kahler, 41, of Wallingford.

Police said Kahler was uncooperative and was found to be concealing a small knife under his leg while sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.
Officers removed him from the vehicle and eventually located approximately 140 bags of heroin. The bags were packaged for street level sales, according to police.

Kahler was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession with the intent to sell.
