Possible Armed Robbery Investigated In North Haven: Police
Police are asking for information about a reported armed robbery at a park in North Haven. Police say a victim hasn't come forward.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a report of a possible armed robbery that occurred around 9 p.m. at Hansen Park in North Haven on Dec. 29. The suspect vehicle is described as a red older model SUV/wagon, according to police.
“The suspect vehicle was followed by a witness to the area of Roarke/Mill Road,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “At this point they heard what they believed to be several gunshots come from the suspect vehicle. The witness immediately stopped following the vehicle and responded to headquarters.”
No robbery victim has come forward as of Monday afternoon, police said. Anyone who may have heard, seen, or has surveillance footage that could be helpful in the investigation is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Cliff Hill at 203-239-5321 ext. 247.
