(Original post) NORTH HAVEN, CT — As the cleanup from Tuesday’s major storm continues, First Selectman Michael Freda updates residents on power outages and road closures in town. Read more from Freda below:
“At this time we still have a significant number of homes without power. I am working closely with the UI to restore service as quickly as possible. Right now we have approximately 10 UI trucks/crews working in the northwest section of town. We have requested additional UI resources and expect additional crews to the area shortly. Residents without power may go to the town library or senior center for charging of devices or respite. There are several roads that are still closed, including Bowling Green Drive, Bradley Street, and Mount Carmel by Christine. Once again for your safety, as a reminder, please stay away from any downed wires. Additional updates to follow. Sincerely, Michael Freda.”
