Robbery Suspect In Custody, Route 40 Connector Reopens: Police
The Route 40 Connector in North Haven was temporarily closed after a pursuit ended in a crash, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A robbery suspect has been taken into custody, and the Route 40 Connector has reopened, North Haven police said in an update.
The suspect was taken by Hamden police for processing, according to police.

“There is a large police presence after a robbery and police pursuit that ended in a crash,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Avoid the area of the Rt 40 connector westbound by Bailey road toward Hamden. Officers are dealing with a barricaded suspect in a vehicle involved in a hamden incident.
