Lisa Rebeschi, senior associate dean of the School of Nursing at Quinnipiac University, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Josephine A. Dolan Award for Outstanding Contributions to Nursing Education from the Connecticut Nurses Association.

Rebeschi will be honored and celebrated at the Connecticut Nurses Association Awards this fall.

“I am deeply humbled and grateful to receive the Josephine Dolan Award,” Rebeschi said. “Nursing education has been in my heart and soul for many years. This recognition really belongs to the many students and colleagues who have impacted my work in ways that they could not have imagined, including my dear friend and mentor Immaculate ‘Mackie’ Alba, a colleague of Josephine Dolan’s. Mackie was the kind of nurse educator I always wanted to be, and I am forever grateful to her.”
