Gordon K. Stokes, 88, North Haven passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of the late Alice Tietjen Stokes.
Born in New Haven on April 16, 1923; son of the late Victor A. and Louise Keane Stokes. Gordon had worked as an Optician for Wallingford Optical until his retirement. After his retirement Gordon spent most of his time traveling the world. Father of Gordon (Jackie) Stokes and Glenn (Doreen) Stokes all of North Haven. Grandfather of Michael (Stacey) Stokes of Wallingford and Lisa (Jason) Gamsby of East Haven. Predeceased by a sister Dorothy.

Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Thursday morning at 10:00. Family and friends may call from 8:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Joseph F. Guida, 86
Joseph F. Guida, 86, of North Haven, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis M. (Giaimo) Guida.
Born in New Haven on March 29, 1925; son of the late Amedeo and Carmel Antonelli Guida. He had worked for the Mite Corporation as a Tool & Dye Maker for many years until his retirement.
Joseph served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Father of Joann DiMartino of North Haven and Joseph F. (Karen) Guida, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV. Grandfather of Ashley Hickey and Jennifer Guida. Great Grandfather of Chloe and Brooklyn Hickey. Brother of Lee Purpora of Milford and the late Evelyn Rossomando.
His Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Friday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church at 10:00. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.

In Farmington September 5, 2011 Frank J. DelGobbo 78, of Northford.
Husband of the late Marilyn R. Speers DelGobbo. Loving father of Jill M. DelGobbo of Guilford and Lynn S. Stone of Northford, brother of Paul "Topsy" DelGobbo of Middlefield. Also survived by a grandson Glenn Galasso and a great grandson Glenn K. Galasso. Predeceased by a son Glenn J. DelGobbo, a brother Michael DelGobbo and a sister Jenny Notargiacomo.
Frank was born in New Haven October 19, 1932 son of the late Rocco and Josephine Ambrose DelGobbo. Prior to his retirement he had worked for Brody Printing, Marathon Printing and Van Dyck Printing.
