Beatrice Farinella Amadeo, 79
Beatrice Farinella Amadeo, 79, of Northford, passed away Monday, September 8, 2011 at the Skyview Center, Wallingford. She was the wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Amadeo.
Born in Manhattan, NY on September 20, 1931; a daughter of the late Peter and Dora Soffer Farinella. Beatrice and her late husband were the former owners and operators of Woodbridge True Value Hardware in Woodbridge. She was a member of the North Branford Senior Center; was an avid bowler in her earlier years in Woodbridge; enjoyed playing cards, scrabble and watching game shows.

Mother of Salvatore (Remy) Amadeo of New Haven, Peter (Jane) Amadeo, Catherine (Peter) Saunders all of Northford, Doralee Amadeo of North Branford, Toni (Mike) DeLuca of Avon. Sister of Salvatore (Norma) Farinella of L.I. New York and the late Frances Conant. Sister-in-law of Charlie Conant of North Branford. Also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff at the Skyview Center for all the comfort and care given to Beatrice.
Her funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday morning at 11:00. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Therese Church, North Haven at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Northford Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 PM.

Margaret “Marge” Glenn Savoia, 84
Margaret “Marge” Glenn Savoia, 84, formerly of North Haven passed away peacefully Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Regency House, Wallingford surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Louis Savoia.
Born in New Haven on August 9, 1927; daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Glenn. Marge had worked for the Winchester/Olin Corporation for 30 years and later for Anthem Blue Cross for 10 years until her retirement. Marge was a spirited, spunky women who enjoyed the beach, shopping, cooking, spending time with her family and many friends.
Mother of William (Jeanne) Savoia, Joseph (Kathy) Savoia and Kathleen (Gene) Lennon. Grandmother of Meghan Savoia, Jennifer (Shawn) Coggins, Joseph (Kimberly) Savoia, Kristy (Paul) Taboada, Gena (Jason) Gomez and Michael Lennon. Great grandmother of Alexis, Branden and Corey Coggins, Sophia and Stella Savoia, Oliver Taboada, Avary and Lucas Gomez. Predeceased by her sisters, Shirley O’Brien and Dorothy Furino.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Monday evening at 7:00. Family and friends may call from 4 until time of service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made to the Regency House, 181 East Main St., Wallingford, CT 06492 for their loving care of Marge.

Agnes E. Farkas Fitzpatrick, 86
Agnes E. Farkas Fitzpatrick, 86, of North Haven, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
She was the beloved wife of Vincent Fitzpatrick, Jr. Agnes was born in Union City on January 6, 1925. Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Farkas. Agnes was a Registered Nursea until her retirement. Mother of Kevin (Pamela) Fitzpatrick of West Redding, CT. Grandmother of Kevin V and Caitlin E. Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by a sister Mary Miller, a brother Joseph Farkas and a half sister Vera Komar.
Her Funeral Procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., Monday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow in the All Saints Mausoleum. The visiting hours will be Sunday from 3-6 PM.

Debra Ann DeNardis, 49
Debra Ann DeNardis, 49, of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, formerly of North Haven, passed away on Tuesday, September 6 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved life partner of Donna Pizzo and daughter of Ray and Betty (Criscuolo) DeNardis of North Haven, Connecticut. Deb was a loving partner, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and friend.
She grew up in North Haven, Connecticut, and was a 1979 North Haven High School graduate. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1983 and was an avid UCONN supporter and fan, particularly of the women's basketball team. Deb worked at Aetna for 27 years starting out as programmer trainee and achieved great respect for her skill and expertise as she was promoted through the ranks to a high level of management. Deb's home was always filled with love, laughter and good food. She loved to cook and entertain and knew how to throw a great party. All who knew and loved her will always remember her "martini shaking face". Her smile would light up any room she entered. She made friends with everyone she met and loved to have fun. She adored her nieces, nephews and grandchildren and a day didn't go by that she wasn't telling some story about one or all of them. She also loved the church family at Church of Christ Congregational in Newington, Connecticut.
Travel was a favorite past time of Deb's. She traveled to so many wonderful places but loved Cape Cod the best, especially golfing and kayaking with Donna. Deb leaves a very large and loving family.
She leaves her life partner, Donna Pizzo, her parents, Ray and Betty DeNardis, her brother Ray of Wallingford, sister-in-law, Deb, and their children, Chris, Chad and Carly; her brother Rich, sister-in-law, Diane, and their children Gary and Alyssa; her step-children, Sandra and Mike Criscuolo and their children, Lucy (the dudes) and Eric, Adam and Michelle Pizzo and their children, Stella and Miles. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
