The revised $128.6 million budget approved by voters Tuesday carries a 1.99 mill increase.

The town’s mill rate will increase from 32.65 to 34.64 under the revised budget. The failed budget called for a 2.65 mill increase.

With the 1.99 mill increase, an average home valued at $300,000 with a net assessment of $210,000 would represent a yearly tax increase of $418, or a monthly tax increase of $35, to the average homeowner, according to First Selectman Michael Freda’s overview of the revised budget.
