NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are advising motorists of road closures/detours that will be in effect for repairs to the bridge just west of the intersection of Universal Drive and Sackett Point Road on Thursday.

Crews will begin overnight repairs at about 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31.

“Universal Drive will not be accessible from those coming eastbound on Sackett Point, and those exiting Universal Drive at Sackett Point will only be able to make a right turn onto Sackett Point,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Plan ahead, avoid the area if possible, drive slow, and expect detours/closures.”
