“Services at the North Haven Funeral Home are private and we suggest it would be best for you to consider avoiding the area during that time,” Freda said in a message to residents.

On Friday, Oct. 21, “both Route 22, Clintonville Road from Pool Road to Route 5, along with Route 5 Washington Avenue from Route 22 all the way to the entrance of I-91 past the CVS will be closed in both directions” from 8 a.m. until approximately 9 a.m. to allow for the funeral procession of Lt. DeMonte to Rentschler Field, according to Freda.

Our sympathies also go to our own North Haven Police Department, who were very close with many of the members of the Bristol Police Department. And we here in North Haven, ladies and gentlemen, will continue to support law enforcement and our North Haven Police Department.”
