Stabbing Suspect Arrested In North Haven: Police
The man is accused of stabbing another man in North Haven last month, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police arrested a man Thursday in connection with a stabbing last month in North Haven that sent another man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At 9:40 p.m. on April 7, a 50-year-old man called 911 to report that he was stabbed, according to police.
Police said the man was found at the intersection of Universal Drive and Sackett Point Road and had suffered a knife wound to his upper leg. Police found a crime scene in a wooded area off Sackett Point Road.
A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect, who wasn’t found. Detectives obtained a search warrant for a tent that was within the crime scene and information gathered from that search led to the identification of a suspect, Daniel P. Myslinski, according to police.

Police said the investigation revealed Myslinski was homeless and had fled the North Haven area. Myslinski was taken into custody by police on May 7 as he attempted to enter a local substance use disorder treatment facility, according to police.
Myslinski was charged with first-degree assault and is being held on a $75,000 court-set bond.
