Stolen Credit Card Used To Buy $1.5K In Gift Cards In North Haven
Police say one man stole a woman's wallet out of her purse & another man used her credit card to buy $1,500 worth of gift cards at 2 stores.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying two men in connection to the theft of a woman’s wallet and subsequent use of her credit card to purchase $1,500 worth of gift cards. Police said that on Feb. 22, an unidentified male (pictured left) stole a wallet from a woman’s purse while she sat for lunch at a Universal Drive eatery.
“A short time later the woman’s credit card was used at Target and Dicks Sporting Goods on Universal Drive by a different unidentified male (pictured top and bottom right) to purchase a total of $1,500 in gift cards,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
