Storm Update From North Haven First Selectman Freda

While the town is "experiencing significant workforce illnesses," First Selectman Michael Freda assures residents that roads will be plowed.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — In advance of the anticipated snow storm, First Selectman Michael Freda is advising residents that the town’s government is “experiencing significant workforce illnesses” due to COVID-19 related issues.

Freda said the town will have fewer workers available, and to bear with them, but assured that roads will be plowed.

Good afternoon, ladies, and gentlemen. This is First Selectman Mike Freda with an update regarding tomorrow's storm. Our Public Works Department will be out there treating roads and plowing roads throughout the duration of the storm.

The purpose of this message, though, is to let each of you know to please ask you to please bear with us. Unfortunately, our town government is experiencing significant workforce illnesses due to COVID related issues.

We will be out there tomorrow. We will have fewer people available to us. If you experience a delay in your street or road being plowed, please be assured that the roads will be done. It may be a slightly slower process tomorrow during that storm as a result of reduced staff.
