Supplies Drive To Benefit North Haven Animal Control: What To Know

North Haven Community Services is hosting a month-long equipment and supplies drive to benefit the North Haven Animal Control.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The Town of North Haven Department of Community Services is hosting a month-long equipment and supplies drive to benefit the North Haven Animal Control.

The department is reaching out to the community for assistance in providing essential supplies and equipment for the dogs and cats currently in the care of North Haven Animal Control.

“As the number of animals entering the shelter continues to increase, so does the need for specialized equipment, daily care items, and enrichment supplies,” officials wrote in a news release. “Community Services is seeking monetary donations to help purchase critical items needed by the shelter, including a large Zinger aluminum dog crate and a large Impact collapsible heavy-duty dog crate. These specialized crates provide safe and secure housing for animals in the shelter's care and represent some of the shelter's most significant equipment needs.
