Suspect Tries To Burglarize Officer’s Cruiser: North Haven Police

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are reminding residents to lock their car doors after a suspect was seen on video trying to enter a marked police cruiser Tuesday night in North Haven.

Police shared a video that was taken around 9:45 p.m. at a home in the west side of town. The video shows a suspect checking the door handle of an officer’s take home, marked police cruiser.

“If they are bold enough to come for his car, they won’t hesitate for yours,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Lock up and make yourself a harder target.”
