'Suspicious' Man Approaches North Haven Student: Police

Police are investigating after a student was approached by an unknown man while waiting to go to school.

North Haven Police are investigating a suspicious incident in which a female North Haven Middle School student was approached by a man while waiting to go to school.

Police said the incident occurred Tuesday morning on Marlborough Road near Homewood Avenue.

The student told police she was startled when the subject began to approach her. She fled without any contact with the subject and entered a family member’s residence.

The subject was described as a white or Hispanic male with facial stubble, approximately 30 years old, wearing camo pants and a grey top.

The School Resource Officer and Detectives are actively investigating this incident. Anyone with any information is encouraged to call 203-239-1618.
