Teen, 18, Charged In Armed Robbery Of Gas Station: North Haven Police
The 18-year-old was arrested on a warrant, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — An 18-year-old New Haven resident has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a gas station in North Haven in July, according to police.
Police responded to a State Street gas station around 8:30 p.m. on July 6 on the report of two men that had robbed the store. One of the men displayed a gun, according to police.
North Haven patrol officers recovered the suspected getaway vehicle a short time later. The vehicle was unoccupied and detectives were assigned to follow up, according to police.

In coordination with the New Haven Police Department and the New Haven Shooting Crimes Task force, detectives identified a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant, police said.
Christian Borrero, 18, of New Haven, was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and criminal use of a weapon. He was held in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
