Teen Charged In Armed Robbery At Gas Station In North Haven: Police
The 17-year-old was wanted in connection with multiple armed robberies throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 17-year-old Massachusetts resident was arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery of a gas station in North Haven earlier this year, according to police.
Police said the gunpoint robbery took place Jan. 14 at a gas station on Washington Avenue in North Haven.
“North Haven Detectives, working in partnership with multiple agencies, including Berlin PD, Fairfield PD, Manchester PD, Connecticut State Police, and the FBI New Haven field office, were able to identify the juvenile as the suspect responsible for multiple robberies with a firearm throughout the state and in Massachusetts,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

The suspect was found in Massachusetts and charged as a fugitive from justice, according to police.
Police said the juvenile, a Marlborough, Massachusetts resident, waived extradition and was taken to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center where they were served arrest warrants from multiple towns.

In connection with the North Haven incident, the juvenile was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, and sixth-degree larceny. The juvenile was being held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center and was expected to be arraigned later on Friday, according to police.
