Teens Burglarized 6 Vehicles Overnight In North Haven: Police

An alert resident notified police that two teens were attempting to enter vehicles in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Two New Haven residents were arrested early Sunday morning after an alert resident notified police they were attempting to enter vehicles in North Haven. The resident called police at 4:45 a.m. reporting that the two males were attempting to enter unlocked vehicles in the parking lot of a State Street apartment complex, according to police.

North Haven Police responded and located Diego Garro, 18, and his juvenile friend. Police said the two entered at least six vehicles. The pair, who are both New Haven residents, were charged with six counts of third-degree burglary and trespassing.
