The Milford Bank Promotes Three

The Milford Bank has announced the promotion of three of its employees.

Patty Gallagher was named Vice President. Ms. Gallagher joined the Bank in 2010 as Manager of its Stratford Office. Ms. Gallagher is a recent graduate of the CT School of Finance and Management. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Stratford Chamber of Commerce and the Stratford Community Fund and is a Board Member and Treasurer for the Perry House Foundation and Celebrate Stratford. She has also been a mentor in the Stratford School System for the past six years. Ms. Gallagher and her family live in Stratford.

Clare Geoghegan was named Vice President. Ms. Geoghegan joined the Bank in 2001 as Manager of its Woodmont Office. Ms. Geoghegan is on the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Day Care. She is also on the Finance Committee of the Beth El Shelter and a volunteer for the Literacy Center of Milford. Ms. Geoghegan attended Lauralton Hall and Sacred Heart University. She currently lives in West Haven.

Mark Attanasio was named Assistant Vice President. Mr. Attanasio joined the Bank in 2002 as Manager of its Post Road East Office. Mr. Attanasio is a Board Member of the Milford Kiwanis Club. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven and the New England School of Banking. He and his family live in North Haven.

Commenting on the promotions, Robert V. Macklin, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Milford Bank, said, "These special people have been valuable team members. Their promotions are well-deserved and recognize the role they have played in the Bank's growth and success."

The Milford Bank was founded in 1872 and is a mutual institution with five offices and a loan center located in the city of Milford, an office in Stratford and a Loan Production office in downtown New Haven.  The Bank offers a wide variety of banking and financial products and services to businesses, individuals and organizations.  Bank assets total in excess of $400 million dollars.
