Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust In North Haven: Police
Police say the driver was found to be in the possession of OxyContin pills and other drugs during a traffic stop in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Hamden man was arrested after police say he was found to be in the possession of drugs during a traffic stop Monday in North Haven. Police saw a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Valley Service Road around 5 p.m. on Feb. 10, officials said.
During the stop, police detected an odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle, according to officials. The driver, 19-year-old Adonis Jenkins of Hamden, was found to be in the possession of numerous packages of marijuana (over 4 ounces), 30 OxyContin pills, nine Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride pills, and THC wax, and a digital scale, police said.
Jenkins was charged with various drug offenses including possession and sale charges. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
