Why is everybody yelling at each other? From social media sites, internet blogs, and nasty emails to omnipresent advertising and political campaigns it seems that our culture has devolved from one where communication is about an exchange of ideas to one where the medium, volume, and delivery of a message is the goal. Can listening and responding restore our recognition of what we hold in common with one another across chasms of philosophy, theology and culture?
