Unresponsive Man Revived With Dose Of Narcan: North Haven Police
A North Haven police officer helped revive an unresponsive man with a dose of Narcan, according to officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven police officer helped revive an unresponsive man with a dose of Narcan on Monday afternoon, according to officials. Police responded to the 100 block of Washington Avenue around 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Officer Anthony Santagata was the first to arrive at the scene and found the victim in front of a gas station/ oil change business, according to police.
Police said the driver reported her passenger became unresponsive while they were traveling on Washington Avenue.

Santagata administered Naloxone (Narcan) to the unresponsive man, who regained consciousness shortly thereafter, according to police. North Haven Fire and AMR also assisted and the man was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
“Great work by Ofc. Santagata and the additional officers and agencies involved!” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
