NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven police officer helped revive an unresponsive woman with a dose of Narcan Thursday afternoon, according to officials. North Haven police responded to DOCS Urgent Care, 163 Universal Dr., at about 2:30 p.m. on the report of a possible overdose.
Police said a 23-year-old woman had entered the clinic for unrelated medical treatment. The woman began to “show signs of distress and became unresponsive/unconscious,” according to police.
“Ofc. Dahlstrom provided a dose of Narcan, as additional PD and fire personnel responded to assist,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “After several minutes the female regained consciousness. She was later transported to an area hospital for evaluation. Great job by Ofc. Dahlstrom and all those who assisted.”
