Vehicle Break-Ins On The Rise In North Haven: Police
Police say thefts from unlocked vehicles have increased in several neighborhoods in town.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are warning residents that thefts from unlocked vehicles are on the rise in North Haven and are asking for assistance from the public.
Police said thefts from parked, unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours have occurred on George Street, Canterbury Way, Corey Road, Maplecrest Lane, South Gate, Marion Drive, Ridgewood Terrace, Fallon Drive, Grandview Terrace, Carriage Drive, Manor Drive, Samoset Avenue, Standish Avenue and May Street.
“Officers are flooding the areas, but need the assistance of the public,” police said in a press release. “Residents are reminded to lock your vehicles, and report any suspicious activity in your neighborhoods.”
