Vehicle Stolen While Owner Was Inside Gas Station: North Haven PD

Two vehicles were stolen during the early morning hours in North Haven and police are asking for help with identifying the suspects.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after two vehicles were stolen during the early morning hours on Tuesday (June 25) in North Haven. Police said one of the vehicles was left unlocked with the keys inside of it on Knollwood Road.

The second vehicle was left running at Cumberland Farms and was stolen while the owner was inside the store, according to police.

“Victims are never to blame, but we encourage everyone to take precautions to make themselves a harder target for criminals,” police said.

The vehicle that was stolen from Cumberland Farms was later recovered in Hamden. The three suspects were spotted on surveillance video in New Haven with the vehicle. Police are asking for help with identifying the suspects, who can be seen in the surveillance video below.
