Veterans Day Ceremony Passes Blue Star Memorial

The Veterans Day ceremony on the North Haven Town Green begins as the American Legion Post 176 Color Guard passes by the Blue Star Memorial. The Blue Star Memorial was sponsored by the Daytime Gardeners of North Haven, along with Arnold’s Jewelers, The Gould Insurance Group, and with the cooperation and support of the town. This Memorial honors all veterans who have served our country, all those who are currently serving, and all those who will serve in the future. During the winter season, the Memorial is decorated with a red, white, and blue ribbon, but the colorful red, white, and blue flowers will be planted again when the weather warms up.
