Branford, Conn. (January 22, 2014) - V.F. McNeil Insurance is pleased to welcome Salvatore D’Angelo to the Branford-based independent insurance agency.
Salvatore D’Angelo started his new position as an Account Executive on January 13, 2014. Following his orientation and a mentoring program, Sal will become increasingly more involved in servicing clients and prospective clients of V.F. McNeil Insurance in both personal lines and commercial lines insurance. Ultimately, Sal will advance into the role of working independently as an Account Executive.

Having majored in Business Administration at Southern Connecticut University, Sal came to V.F. McNeil with over 15 years of management experience within the food industry and online food sales for Libby’s of New Haven. Sal enjoyed the fast-paced environment and his personal interaction with people.
With a vision for the future, Sal began to consider a career change after he and his wife established a family together. With a continued desire to work in a fast-paced environment, utilize his managerial skills, enjoy personal interaction with others, and allow more time for his wife and two young children, Sal began to investigate the independent insurance agency system based on a positive reference from a friend working within the industry.

Sal completed the Connecticut state licensing requirement for property & casualty insurance in 2013. Following his state licensing, Sal came very highly recommended to V.F. McNeil as an individual with strong work ethics, integrity, and an overall desire and commitment to helping others.
Sal’s background and his excitement for joining the V.F. McNeil team is yet another enhancement to the quality of the Branford insurance agency. He is looking forward to utilizing his managerial and interpersonal skills within his new career and spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their children, Libby and Luca.
