UPDATE: Woman Identified in Fatal North Haven ATV Crash
The woman and her husband had been riding the ATV in a wooded area near the North Haven and Wallingford town line before the crash.
UPDATE, Jan. 19:
The woman who was killed in Sunday’s ATM crash in North Haven has been identified as Katherine Diaz, 23, of West Haven, according to FOX 61.

A West Haven woman was killed in an ATV crash in North Haven Sunday.
According to police, authorities responded to Dodge Avenue around 1 p.m. for the crash. Investigating officers found a husband and wife were riding the ATVs in a wooded area near the North Haven and Wallingford town line before the crash.

The 23-year-old woman from West Haven struck a tree while riding the ATV near 100 Dodge Avenue, police said. She was taken to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
North Haven Police, Wallingford Fire Department and North Haven Fire Department responded to the scene.
