NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 23-year-old woman died after being ejected from her car and hit by another vehicle in North Haven Sunday night, Connecticut Police said.
The crash occurred around 8:40 p.m. on I-91 South, police said. The victim, identified as Cassandra Carlson of North Haven, died at the scene.
Police said Carlson's car hit another car from behind in the left center lane, causing the other car to spin out of control onto the center median and strike a guardrail.

Carlson's car rolled over and entered the center median and struck another guardrail, according to officials.
She was ejected from her car and landed in the left center lane on the northbound side, where she was struck by another car, police said.
