Woman Smashed Man’s Car Windows With Baseball Bat: North Haven Police
The woman faces several charges after police said she smashed a man's car windows with a baseball bat at a gas station in North Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A woman was arrested Thursday after police said she smashed the windows of a man’s vehicle with a baseball bat at the Sunoco gas station on Washington Avenue in North Haven.
Police responded to the gas station at 641 Washington Avenue around 5:20 p.m. on the report of a woman smashing the windows of a vehicle with a baseball bat.
Officers found that the woman was involved in an argument with a male customer, according to police.

“She approached him at his vehicle and began striking him and kicking him,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “The woman then retrieved a baseball bat from her vehicle and smashed his car's windows before fleeing the area. Officers located her on Washington Ave and took her into custody.”
April Rizzuti, 46, was charged with DUI, criminal mischief, breach of peace, engaging officers in pursuit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and assault, according to police. She was held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
