Week 1:
Starting at the Root

Find out what's happening in North Havenfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Exercises to keep knees, feet and hips in alignment with our feet pointing forward.

Week 2:
It’s all in the Hips

Find out what's happening in North Havenfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

We will focus on the hips, including anterior, posterior and neutral pelvis. Excercises while sitting, standing, lying down on your back, side and belly will allow you to become better connected with your pelvis.

Week 3:
Tight hamstrings?

We’ll do a flow and break down Downward Facing Dog to find out how you can learn to love it by learning modifications. Our focus is on rib cage vs. belly breathing and we’ll incorporate breathing exercises (pranayama) with a short meditation.

Week 4:
Open your Heart

The door to our heart is often closed. We will explore backbends slowly using props and counter stretch with forward bends. (Props and hands on adjustments for support.)

Week 5:
Spread your Wings

Learn how to find space in your spine without compression and take fuller breaths. We’ll continue to explore backbends and discover where you are locked up. Feel supported and loved by spreading your wings.

Week 6:
Let’s Twist

Learn how to keep your spine on its axis while doing twisting poses. Rapid breathing or breath holding while twisting is common, so we’ll learn how to take slow steady breaths to find calm and peace in the twist!

Week 7:
Head Over Heels

Going upside down! If you can shift your down dog out of your shoulders into the hips and legs, you are most likely ready to practice a head or handstand. This is also a scary place to go and we will ONLY go there if you are ready, so other inversions will be offered if balancing on your head or hands is not for you.

Week 8:
Life is stressful!

How do I teach my mind and body to be STILL? You will be guided into deep stillness!
