1 Driver Killed In 2-Vehicle Crash In Norwalk: Police
The crash occurred late Sunday night at the intersection of Westport Avenue and Dry Hill Road.

NORWALK, CT — A man in his 60s was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Westport Avenue and Dry Hill Road, according to Norwalk police and fire officials.
The identity of the victim, who was one of the drivers, was not disclosed as police notify his family.
The crash occurred at about 11:15 p.m. when a Geo Prizm, traveling westbound on Westport Avenue, collided with a Honda Accord, traveling eastbound on Westport Avenue at the intersection of Dry Hill Road.

Norwalk firefighters extricated the operator of the Geo, who was trapped under the vehicle's dashboard, and later succumbed to his injuries at Norwalk Hospital.
The occupants in the Honda suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

"The manner and cause of the crash is currently under investigation," Norwalk police said in a statement. "We are asking that any persons with any information relating to the accident make contact with Officer Wasilewski either by phone at 203-854-3035, or by email at cwasilewski@norwalkct.org."
