1 Injured In I-95 Truck Crash In Norwalk: FD

NORWALK, CT — The driver of a pickup truck suffered unknown injuries Monday morning when his truck slammed into the rear of a tractor trailer truck on I-95 southbound near exit 16, according to Norwalk fire officials.

The pickup truck driver had to be extricated from his vehicle by firefighters following the 6:20 a.m. crash, and he was taken to Norwalk Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

Traffic was snarled on I-95 for a couple of hours following the crash, which was cleared by about 8:20 a.m.
