NORWALK, CT — A woman suffered minor burns to one of her hands Friday evening during a fire at a two-family home on Ivy Place in Norwalk, according to Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Shay.
No other injuries were reported in the blaze, which started in the kitchen on the second floor of the two-story, wood-frame home.
"Most of the fire was confined to the kitchen with some extension to the outside wall of the home," said Shay in a statement, adding that all of the occupants had to be evacuated.
