2-Hour Delayed Opening Announced For Norwalk Public Schools

Norwalk Public Schools will have a two-hour delay Wednesday morning due to inclement weather.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools will have a two-hour delay Wednesday morning due to inclement weather.

According to the district's Facebook page, morning care will also operate on a delayed schedule Wednesday.

"We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the night and early morning. If conditions change that further impact transportation and/or travel for the rest of Wednesday, we will provide an update as soon as possible," the post reads.

A general 1–3 inches of snow and ice fell across Connecticut on Tuesday and the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement as patchy ice is forecast to develop late Tuesday and early Wednesday.
