2 New Trustees Join Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum Board
The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is a national historic landmark located in Norwalk.
NORWALK, CT - From The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum: The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is pleased to announce that Miklos P. Koleszar and Sallie Marsico have joined the Board of Trustees.
Patsy Brescia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees said, “We are delighted to have Mr. Koleszar and Ms. Marsico join our distinguished Board of Trustees and gain their respective talents in the oversight of LMMM. Our Trustees and Volunteers are very important to assist staff in enhancing our cultural, educational and institutional programs.”
Miklos P. Koleszar, a Norwalk resident, is a solo practitioner with a general practice of law concentrating on real estate, elder law, estate planning, and probate. Previously, he has been an associate with the law firm of Nemore, Nemore, & Silverman and Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Norwalk. Mr. Koleszar holds a B.S. in Finance from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a Juris Doctor degree from Southern University School of Law, Los Angeles, CA.

Mr. Koleszar enlisted in the United States Army Reserve in 1970 as a Private, and after basic and advanced training, he was selected to attend the Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after twenty-two years of active and reserve duty. Mr. Koleszar has been a recipient of the Army Commendation Medal. His community involvement includes being a Board member of Keystone House, Inc, a past President of the Norwalk Jaycees; a past President of the Kiwanis Club of Norwalk; and a former Board member of Elder House, to name a few.
Sallie Marsico, a Norwalk resident, began her career in 1973 running twenty-six card shops for Walden Book Company and later becoming Director of Real Estate for the company, where she worked on site selection, contract negotiation, and construction interface for rapid expansion of the company’s bookstores in regional mall locations.

Over the course of her career, either as an independent consultant or as director of real estate for the corporation, she directed retail expansion for Nine West Group, American Eagle Outfitters, The Bombay Company, Batus International, Carter Hawley Hale's Contempo Casual divisionand Caldor. Ms. Marsico’s also spent two years fundraising for Community Health Charities of Connecticut. Ms. Marsico’s interests are varied, but include history and travel. She and her husband have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Russia, Ukraine, China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Dubai.
