2 Pedestrians Struck, Injured in Hit-and-Run in Norwalk

The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Van Buren Avenue.

NORWALK, CT - Two pedestrians were struck and injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night on Van Buren Avenue in Norwalk, according to police.

The incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bedford Avenue. The two pedestrians, a male and a female, were struck by a gray BMW, which was last seen fleeing south on Van Buren Avenue following the crash.

"The vehicle is believed to have sustained front and right side damage to include a missing right side mirror, which remained at the scene," said police in a statement.

Both pedestrians were transported to the Norwalk Hospital for treatment. Their medical conditions were not immediately known.
