2017 Norwalk St. Patrick's Day Parade Is Saturday
During the festivities, certain roads will be temporarily closed.
NORWALK, CT — The 2017 Norwalk St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for tomorrow, March 11, beginning at 11 a.m., according to the Norwalk Police Emerald Society. The parade's Grand Marshal is local tavern owner Ollie O’Neill.
The parade begins at Veteran’s Park, and proceeds up Washington Street, onto North Main Street and ending at Pine Street. A ceremony will immediately follow under the tent at O’Neill’s Pub at 93 North Main St.
The parade will feature the music of the Norwalk Emerald Society Pipe Band along with members of the Norwalk Police Department, Norwalk Fire Department, Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Service, Norwalk Veterans, O’Neill’s Irish Pub and Diageo float, 95.9 The Fox, St. Patrick’s Gaelic Football Club and much more.

The parade route will cause the following temporary road closures (which are expected to last no more than 10-15 minutes):
- Fort Point Street at Seaview Avenue
- Washington Street at Water Street
- Washington Street at North Main Street
- North Main Street at Marshall Street
- North Main Street at Ann Street
- North Main Street at Dr. Martin Luther King Drive
