2020 Norwalk St. Patrick's Day Parade Canceled: UPDATE

The parade, originally scheduled for March 14, was canceled due to COVID-19.

In an effort to prevent the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the 2020 Norwalk St. Patrick's Day Parade was canceled, announced Mayor Harry Rilling.

NORWALK, CT — The 2020 Norwalk St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, announced the Norwalk Police Emerald Society.

The parade begins at Veteran’s Park, proceeding up Washington Street, onto North Main Street and ending at Pine Street.

The following roads will be temporarily closed at 10:55:

  • RT 136 Fort Point Street at Seaview Avenue
  • Washington Street at Water Street
  • Washington Street at South Main Street
  • Marshall Street at North Main Street
  • Ann Street at North Main Street
  • North Main Street at West Avenue

These roads will immediately re-open once the parade has passed through.
