21-Year-Old Former Brien McMahon HS Grad Dies Of Coronavirus
Sheryll Enriquez was a member of the Class of 2017 through the high school's Center for Global Studies program.

NORWALK, CT — The new coronavirus (COVID-19) claimed the life this week of a 21-year-old Brien McMahon High School graduate, according to her family and friends.
Sheryll Enriquez, a member of the Class of 2017 through its Center for Global Studies program, was one of the youngest people in the state to succumb to the virus.
"She was a lovely, sweet, artistic young woman who brought much joy and kindness to our little community," wrote Director Julie Parham on the CGS Facebook page. "We are lucky we had a chance to spend four lovely years with her. Godspeed, Sher. Our hearts are with you."

Her family established a Fundly page to help pay for funeral expenses. As of Friday, the page had generated more than $4,600 toward a goal of $12,000.
As of Thursday, 60 Norwalk residents have died of complications from COVID-19, according to Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling.

"Sher was only 21 with the whole world ahead of her," wrote Miryam Enriquez on Fundly. "After a long battle with COVID-19, Sher passed and went to heaven. Sher leaves behind family and friends who love and miss her."
