3 Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges At Norwalk Motel: Police
The suspects were arrested Wednesday at the Red Carpet Inn on Westport Avenue.

NORWALK, CT — Three suspects were arrested on drug trafficking charges Wednesday after police searched a vehicle and room at the Red Carpet Inn on Westport Avenue in Norwalk, according to authorities.
During the search, members of the Norwalk police Special Services Division found undisclosed amounts of powder and crack cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, ecstasy and $700 in cash.
Arrested were John-Rafael Heath, 33, of Bridgeport; Nino Miller-Marks, 33, of Norwalk; and Joseph Segarra-Jimenez, 22, of Bridgeport. They were charged with a host of narcotics charges, including possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school.

Police had warrants for Marks-Miller and to search his room and vehicle, and they apprehended him when he arrived at the inn with Heath and Segarra-Jimenez. A juvenile also was with them, and the minor was released to a legal guardian.
Heath also was charged with illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, but police did not disclose the type of weapon. The three suspects were held in lieu of bail of $50,000 each, and they are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
